Brent Ray, OTD, OTR/L

Hello, My name is Brent Ray and I am the Owner and Occupational Therapist at Ray’s Pediatric Therapy. A little background on me includes graduating from Arkansas State University in 2015 with my bachelors degree in exercise science. Following my bachelors I was part of the inaugural Doctorate of Occupational Therapy class of 2018 at Arkansas State University. I have currently been practicing Occupational Therapy for 8 years with a majority of my time spent in Early Intervention and Pediatric services. Myself and my family are so excited to be back and a part of the Manila, AR community. We look forward to serving families in Manila as well as surrounding areas in Mississippi county.

Our Philosophy

In pediatric therapy, play is not a reward given after the hard work is done—play IS the work.
Under the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework (OTPF), play is explicitly defined as an primary occupation of childhood. Across Occupational (OT), Physical (PT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), play serves as the primary mechanism through which children build neurological pathways, master developmental milestones, and learn to navigate their world.
